Our 27 acre farm and avocado packinghouse rises from 1100 feet to 1700 feet above sea level in the cool foot hills of Mauna Loa. The micro climate in Honaunau is ideal for growing avocado, as well as all the wonderful tropical fruits and flowers we use in the B&B. We grow Sharwil, Kahalu'u, Hass and other Hawaiian varieties of avocado on our farm, and we work with other local farmers to pack and ship their Sharwils. The delicious Sharwil avocado are shipped to the US mainland from November to March each year, and supply local markets with other avocado varieties from October to May. Our groves and Packinghouse are certified organic and GAP certified for food safety. We take pride in farming sustainably and responsibly and protecting our beautiful environment.
