We're committed to easy access for everyone
Kane Plantation Guesthouse is committed to making our website as accessible as possible to people with special needs, including those with visual, hearing, cognitive and motor impairments. We have invested a large amount of resources working towards improving the accessibility of our website to ensure we provide equal access to all of our users. To help us make the Kane Plantation Guesthouse website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.
ADA Accessible Units
None of our 3 suites are fully ADA accessible, however the Kane Suite is ADA friendly. It is a ground level suite without any stairs and a short walk from the parking area. It has a walk-in shower however the bathroom is not wheelchair accessible. According to federal law as found on https://www.ada.gov/taman3.html, places of lodging with 5 or less units and have the owner living on the property are exempt from having to have an ADA unit for those with disabilities.
How are we doing?
